An interesting site that has Xscribble which does character recognition.
A company which has developed some software that does the same as wayV on the Windows platform. They seem to have VC funding but I don't see what their revenue model is, it'll be interesting to find out.
Another company which is about to launch a new PDA that runs Linux and X. Obviously it does some form of character recognition and I'd love to know what they're using?
Another free software project that provides a gesture interface to X.
